Are they shocked?
Are they dehydrated?
Can they drink safely?
Ongoing losses: vomiting, diarrhoea, NG, stoma, bleeding?
Heart failure, CKD, liver disease, frailty, fluid restriction?
Current diuretics?
Recent IV fluids?
Latest U&Es, creatinine, K⁺, lactate, VBG/ABG?
Urine output and fluid balance?
